アニメで育てた自信満々の日本語を携えてやって来た架空の学習者は、日常には台本どおりのパワーアップも完璧な登場シーンもないと知る。それでも最後には、冗談が感謝へと変わっていく。アニメは細部を大げさに描いたかもしれない。けれど、いつしか心の居場所となる言語と文化への扉を開いてくれた。
